Weiss is a Huntress, a former student of the now-defunct Beacon Academy, and former heiress of the Schnee Dust Company. She is a member of Team RWBY alongside Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long. She is the younger sister of Winter Schnee and the older sister of Whitley Schnee. Weiss is a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue eyes and long white hair that is often pulled back into an off-center ponytail or braid on the right side and pinned with a silver, icicle-shaped tiara.
Winter appears to be a cold, serious and distant person who prefers to keep her emotions subdued and speaking in a very stoic way which most likely comes due to her being a soldier. She is fiercely commited and loyal to the military and acts as the general's second-in-command and right-hand. Incredibly gifted, Winter was one of the most skilled and capable Huntresses in Atlas, having not only graduated top of her class at Atlas Academy, but being hand-picked for service in the Military.
